Demolition and remodel of an existing 13,000 SF basement space into a fully functional clinical laboratory supporting pathology, histology, cytology, autopsy, morgue, and transfusion services. The project was executed within an occupied hospital and required extensive coordination of medical gases, fume hoods, and specialized utilities.
JKL provided design oversight during preconstruction and full-time construction management during construction, including coordination with hospital departments, utility shutdowns, inspection services, OSHPD IOR, scheduling, quality control, infection control, and cost management.
