Remodel of an existing 3,000 SF space within the Old Main Hospital to accommodate a new CT scanner, including structural upgrades and installation of new mechanical systems. Construction was performed in a fully operational hospital environment.
JKL provided full-time construction management services, coordinating utility shutdowns, inspections, OSHPD interface, infection control, scheduling, quality assurance, and cost control. Early user coordination supported smooth execution and reduced disruption to adjacent departments.

Renovation of an existing operating room within an active surgical suite, requiring extensive after-hours work to minimize disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
JKL served as general contractor, providing subcontractor coordination, utility shutdown planning, OSHPD interface, scheduling, infection control, quality assurance, and cost control over the course of construction.

Three-phase infrastructure and utility upgrade to support new cardiac catheterization lab equipment within Stanford’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. Scope included complex utility coordination, shutdown planning, infection prevention, and integration with medical equipment vendors.
JKL provided preconstruction and construction services, including constructability review, value engineering, quality control, infection prevention, and coordination among Stanford Engineering, facilities staff, equipment vendors, and user groups. The project was completed with zero change orders.

Construction of a new 824,000 SF, seven-story acute care hospital featuring individual patient rooms, operating suites, advanced imaging facilities, an expanded emergency department, and a 900-space parking structure. The project represents one of the largest and most complex healthcare construction efforts in the region.
JKL provided construction management services supporting delivery of this state-of-the-art hospital facility through completion and activation.
