Company Overview
JKL is a commercial building firm started in June of 2003. We have experienced steady growth since that time due to our past relationships and competent staff. Our concentration within the industry is healthcare construction. In addition to our healthcare clients, we have contractural relationships with highly technical companies such as Genentech, Bayer, Novartis, and Lockheed Martin.
We pursue complex projects and employ engineers and construction experienced people who thrive on the challenges offered by these types of projects. We contract as design/builders, general contractors, construction managers, and owner’s representatives.
Our staff has constructed some of the largest projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This knowledge and experience allows us to provide a higher level of services from that offered by other small companies. It also gives us an edge over large firms who have higher overhead costs.

- Laguna Honda Hospital, LEED Silver Certified
750,000 SF, 1,100 bed skilled, OSHPD nursing facility. JKL is providing quality assurance services and best practices for building component installation.
San Francisco, CA
- Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Bed Building One
370,000 SF, six-story patient bed building. JKL is providing construction management services, which includes central plant upgrade, demolition of four buildings, construction of enabling structures, and construction of the patient bed building.

College Grad Opportunities
We offer challenging roles on challenging projects. JKL provides training suited to enhance individual skill sets. We provide guidance and knowledge found at a large company absent the unnecessary bureaucracy of a large company.
Internships
JKL provides stimulating internship programs to college students. These programs are offered during the summer semester as well as during the school year. Work hours are flexible to align with student’s course schedule.
